Everyone at St John's is very pleased to welcome Bridge Outreach Services, which is part of the Bridge Community Centre. They moved into the Brockman Hall in 2021, and we enjoy a close working relationship with the staff and volunteers. They pride themselves in offering an open door policy, making a difference to people’s lives regardless of ability or disability or postal code.
WHAT WE DO!
Our Mission is to provide support and friendship to anyone who walks through our door, to help improve their quality of life.
Our Vision is for the Bridge Outreach Service is very much part of our charities aims & objectives which is to be a vibrant, welcoming environment, with modern and accessible facilities, delivering fun and educational activities for all.
Our Values - we are:
• Friendly -We take pride in being friendly to everyone, in a comfortable home-from-home atmosphere
• Inclusive - We include everyone, whatever their abilities
• Helpful - We are as helpful as possible to all those who come to the centre, giving them the support they need
• Respectful - We respect everyone who comes to us, regardless of background, beliefs, gender or age or postal code everyone is welcome no matter the area you come from.
Award winning services: Bridge Outreach Services will soon be offering a wide range of services, including:
Drop in community café - purchase hot & cold food, from 2 course lunches to all day breakfast to sandwiches & rolls etc
Free support and talk service
Branching out in confidence skills
Help with benefits/referrals admin
Support for families grieving the loss of a child (see Ruben's Roar)
